新しいアルバム
It's time I gave my impressions on Puzzle, Kanjani8's new album.
When the name for it was released I was "Huh, why that name?"
But now that I know the concept, saw the packaging... I really like it.
As I didn't want to be influenced by what I could read, I didn't look at the titles the first time I listened to the abums.

Ichibiyou KISS
That's one dynamic song but not my favourite.
It's just a song among some others to me.
But I really like the "I need you, I miss you, I kiss you"
And the lyrics are quite fresh.
Akai Shinkirou
At first I didn't really like the first notes of the intro but I guessed I got used to them.
I find the chorus part very lively and catchy.
But when I read the translation, the "story" is kinda sad actually.
I can't say exactly why but this part reminds me some of their older songs on "Kansha ni Eight".
Puzzle
I'm totally in love with that song, definitely!
I heard the first notes and I knew I would love it.
Everything about this song is beautiful.
Kawaita Hana
I find this song quite funky in a way.
Again, the chorus is my favourite part of the song.
And I like the title, it's poetic.
Gori Gori
Ok, I heard Ryo rolling his "R" and that was enough for me to like this one.
When I listen to it, I just can't stay still, I follow the rythm.
A very rock song, to me it also sounds like a friendship song.
It's My Soul
Well, we all knew this song I think.
And I think I'm totally influenced by their cracking PV ! XD
Rolling Coaster
It's also one of my favourite.
But why "Rolling" and not "Roller" coaster?
It's a really positive song and saying that the heart is like a "rolling" coaster is a nice image.
Oh and one more thing, I love when there are effects on the voices so you can guess that Ryo's had its little effect on me.
My Last Train
This one is depressing but I like Subaru's voice a lot here.
The "Love love love" part reminded me the famous Beattles' song and I also like the notes that sounds like a music box.
It's not the one I would listen repeatedly.
But at least there's some diversity in their albums, they alternate well between different genres.
Musekinin Hero
Another that we already knew.
Completely delirious and funny, I really like it
I'm fan of those irresponsible heroes who can make me laugh.
But I think you need to see the PV and read a translation to enjoy the song completely.
Brulee
I don't especially like this song even though the title is French.
They say "Crème brulée" ah ah ah.
But again, the image with this dessert is well thought.
Saite Ikyo
If I remember well, that was the first new song that was played during radio shows, no?
But I purposely didn't listen to it at that time.
The music is just normal to me but the lyrics are nice.
Giga Majime Waga Fight
Oh oh oh, another favourite of mine!
I love the rythm of the song, I just want to shout "Saa, utae" with Yoko XD
It awakens my fighting spirit!
Jounetsu Party
I'm kinda indifferent when it comes to this song.
It's just one title on the album and that's all.
I think I don't really get its meaning.
Wahaha
Ahhhhh, this one goes well "Musekinin Hero" I think ^^
It brings joy and makes me smile, I don't need more.
I'm just tanoshii~ when I listen to it.
Donna ni Hanaretetatte Soba ni Iru Kara
I didn't pay any attention to this song the first time, I just listened to it distractedly.
But when I re-listened to it I was surprised it didn't catch my attention.
Plus the lyrics are nice and I like the harmonica part ^^

But I really like the "I need you, I miss you, I kiss you"

The rythm is very good, the song is well done, really.
But I feel the main character in the song a bit... frustated, is that the word?
One's Shadow
Oh Hina, nice try, the music is nice but...
The English/Japanese mix is a bit destabilizating for me.
But we can't deny his voice sounds better in this album!
And I don't like the part when the girl talks.
Wanshan Ronpin
This song is really something, completely... Maru, a lot of energy.
Everytime I listen to it, I have the impression to be in an cartoon or I expect to see some Oompa-loompas XD
This song would have been perfect for "Uta no Onii-san".
I read that Maru used a lot the first kanji of his name in this song, cuuuuuute!

I laughed when he talked about girls' panties but otherwise I couldn't stop crying.
It reminded me the relationship I had with one of my grandfathers who passed away when I was younger.
My "jii-chan" also taught me how to catch bugs (though I hate them XD), he wanted us to laugh the day he left...

What was I expecting? Of course it'd be a beautiful song!
Ryo has a gift to write and compose wonderful things, really.
The "bad" point is that it's always hard to sing his solo songs.

A song entirely in English, well as I knew that Tacchon absolutely sucks at English, I was prepared not to understand what they would say.
And... I was right, I needed a transcription.
I'm pretty the song would have been more meaningful and powerful if they had written in Japanese.
But anyway, it's still nice ^^
